"Shillitto’s Winning Run” - Sunday, 25th July 2010 - Wood Lane Fishery – Iver
Remenham anglers travelled to Iver last weekend returning to the prolific Wood Lane fishery.
Dick Shillitto continued his amazing winning form with another ‘ton up’ bag of carp weighing an impressive 112lb 4oz, caught on paste fishing the margins. On form Shillito has now won 5 out of 7 matches this season...............so far!
Trevor Pearce finished in second place with 105lb 2oz fishing the pellet waggler and third place went to Nigel Smith with 60lb of Carp caught on the pellet close in on the pole.
Section winners were Stan Rowback with 58lb 8oz who fished the method feeder and Mark Bowles with 58lb 8oz.The mat ch this weekend is at Fobury Farm in Hampshire the draw is at 9.00am

"Shillito's Top Form Continues" Sunday, 18th July 2010- Billhook Lake near OdihamRemenham anglers travelled to Hampshire to fish Billhook Lake which has been on form recently with 90lb + bags however, however 3 Remenham ace anglers smashed the 100lb barrier last weekend.Dick Shillito continued his winning form with a net busting 179lb 9oz, all carp caught on paste close to a Lilly Pad feature from fancied peg 8. Dick is gaining a reputation for drawing a "flyer" peg however at the end of the day, skill is required to maximise the good draw. Graham Dodd finished in second place with 125lb 8oz and third place went to Nigel Smith with 104lb 4oz of Carp caught on the pellet close in on the pole. Section winners were Alan Brand with 97lb 1oz who fished method feeder, then switched to paste , Justin York with 87lb 4oz who fished the method feeder and Ade Bowles with 78lb 12oz.This was the 6th match of the summer Stillwater Series of which Shillito has won 4 with a total score of 92 points, 24 points clear of Trevor Pearce in 2nd place.

Pearce Clinches Victo
Remenham anglers travelled to Pimlico Farm in Oxfordshire last weekend for the 5th match in the Stillwater Series.Trevor Pearce claimed victory with 83lb 6oz who caught Carp down the edge on paste then switched to pellet further out. Ade Bowels was runner up with an all carp bag of 63lb 14oz caught on paste at 5meters closely followed by Mark Bowels with 62lb 13oz. The match this Sunday is at Billhook lake near Odiham , draw at 9.00am

Shillito Smashes Remenham Match Record
Remenham anglers travelled to Milton Pools near Stadhampton last weekend for the 4th match in the summer Stillwater Series, the conditions were ideal, warm, overcast and the fish were feeding; the scene was set for an exciting match.Dick Shillito drew favoured peg 1 and yet again showed fine form by winning his third match of the series with a record breaking 175lb 3.oz of mainly Carp caught on Meat in the margins at 5M on the pole; Dick also broke the Club match record in the process taking his place in the Remenham “hall of fame”.Nigel Smith, previous match record holder, finished a close second with 142lb of quality Carp caught on the Pellet. Third place went to Stan ? with 103lb of Carp, caught on pellet and paste.Section winners were Alan Brand with 94lb 7oz switching between paste in the margins and pellet at 7M, Trevor Pearce with 93lb who caught Carp and a mixed bag on the pole method and then switched to fish the margins and Ade Bowels with 91lb 15oz. The match this Sunday is at Pimlico Farm, Oxfordshire draw at 9.00am. The fishery is stocked with Mirror and Common Carp to 30lbs, with lots of quality Roach and Tench.
June 27th 2010 - "Frobury Farm - Kingsclear
"Shillitto On Top Form"Frobury Farm near Kingsclear June 27th 2010Remenham anglers travelled to Frobury Farm in Hampshire last weekend for the 3rd match in the summer Stillwater Series basking in record breaking temperatures and glorious sunshine for most of the day.Dick Shillitto won his second match of the series with an impressive bag of 90lb of Carp caught on Paste at 5M on the pole; Dick also targeted the large Rudd shoals however switched back to the pole to build his winning weight. Graham Dodd finished a close second with 80lb 6oz made up of 35lb of Rudd and 45lb of quality Carp. Third place went to Ade Bowels with 75lb 1oz of Carp again caught on his favourite paste method.Section winners were Trevor Pearce with 58lb 15oz who caught Rudd shallow and after 2 hours switched to target the carp and Brian Bowels with an all carp bag of 41lb 14oz. The match this Sunday is at Milton Pools near Stadhampton, draw at 9.00am
June 20th 2010- Billhook
"Pearce Gives Them A Real Pasting"Remenham anglers travelled to Hampshire to fish Billhook Lake which has been on top form recently with 100lb + bags however, although the weather was ideal, the fishing was average.Trevor Pearce led the way with 59lb 10oz of carp starting on the method feeder and switching to the Paste to clinch victory. Nigel Smith continued on form in second place with 46lb 15oz of quality Carp caught on pellet at 5M on the pole in the margins close to a reed bed. Third place went to Dick Shillito with 44lb 12oz of Carp again caught on the pellet close in on the poleody text here ...
Wood Lane fishery near Iver, 13th June 2010
"Shillito's Bream Bonanza"
Remenham anglers travelled to a new venue for club outing last Sunday (13th June) for their first match of the season at Wood Lane fishery near Iver. All caught well, basking in glorious sunshine for most of the day.
Dick Shillito lead the way with an impressive bag of 72 lb 4 oz of mainly Skimmer Bream with a few carp most of which were caught on pellet at 5M on the pole. Dick started the match fishing the pellet waggler, shallow, however after a quiet start, switched to the pole to target the resident bream. His change tactics paid off as he went on to win the match. Club Captain Ian Chaplin was a close second with 61lb 12oz of quality Carp caught on banded pellet at 6M on the pole. Third place went to Nigel Smith with 58lb 14oz of Carp again caught on his favourite pellet.
Section winners were Graham Dodd with 55lb 14oz who caught shallow with 8mm pellet at distance on the waggler rod and Ade Bowels with 51lb 14oz who fished paste on the pole.
