Remenham anglers travelled to Pimlico Farm in Oxfordshire last weekend for the 5th match in the Stillwater Series.Trevor Pearce claimed victory with 83lb 6oz who caught Carp down the edge on paste then switched to pellet further out. Ade Bowels was runner up with an all carp bag of 63lb 14oz caught on paste at 5meters closely followed by Mark Bowels with 62lb 13oz. The match this Sunday is at Billhook lake near Odiham , draw at 9.00am

Shillito Smashes Remenham Match Record
Remenham anglers travelled to Milton Pools near Stadhampton last weekend for the 4th match in the summer Stillwater Series, the conditions were ideal, warm, overcast and the fish were feeding; the scene was set for an exciting match.Dick Shillito drew favoured peg 1 and yet again showed fine form by winning his third match of the series with a record breaking 175lb 3.oz of mainly Carp caught on Meat in the margins at 5M on the pole; Dick also broke the Club match record in the process taking his place in the Remenham “hall of fame”.Nigel Smith, previous match record holder, finished a close second with 142lb of quality Carp caught on the Pellet. Third place went to Stan ? with 103lb of Carp, caught on pellet and paste.Section winners were Alan Brand with 94lb 7oz switching between paste in the margins and pellet at 7M, Trevor Pearce with 93lb who caught Carp and a mixed bag on the pole method and then switched to fish the margins and Ade Bowels with 91lb 15oz. The match this Sunday is at Pimlico Farm, Oxfordshire draw at 9.00am. The fishery is stocked with Mirror and Common Carp to 30lbs, with lots of quality Roach and Tench.

"Shillitto On Top Form"Frobury Farm near Kingsclear June 27th 2010Remenham anglers travelled to Frobury Farm in Hampshire last weekend for the 3rd match in the summer Stillwater Series basking in record breaking temperatures and glorious sunshine for most of the day.Dick Shillitto won his second match of the series with an impressive bag of 90lb of Carp caught on Paste at 5M on the pole; Dick also targeted the large Rudd shoals however switched back to the pole to build his winning weight. Graham Dodd finished a close second with 80lb 6oz made up of 35lb of Rudd and 45lb of quality Carp. Third place went to Ade Bowels with 75lb 1oz of Carp again caught on his favourite paste method.Section winners were Trevor Pearce with 58lb 15oz who caught Rudd shallow and after 2 hours switched to target the carp and Brian Bowels with an all carp bag of 41lb 14oz. The match this Sunday is at Milton Pools near Stadhampton, draw at 9.00am
